About

Living in Eugene, Oregon, a city with two rivers that are rich in history and tradition for fly fishing, I split my time between working as a photographer & multimedia storyteller and adventuring throughout the Lane County area whether by car, bike or public transportation where the Upper sections of the Willamette River and the famed McKenzie River in search of native redsides.

The title of this site reflects those two rivers I believe have yet to be fully explored.

My deep passion for the outdoors was forged as a child during family camping trips on both sides of the Oregon central Cascade Range, and as I’ve gotten older, have become somewhat of a trout bum while believing that a more localized approach to fly fishing is both environmentally responsible and fulfilling at the same time.

While the pursuit of trout in a environmentally responsible way provides for adventures, stories, and friendships; I recognize the importance of preserving our natural resources from exploitation as a way to protect those ecosystems I enjoy fishing.
